what are the pains
1. Promos are overwhelming, but we still need to know where to go, who’s going, how the floor is, and what the vibe’s like.
Dancers are flooded with event promotions, yet still left unsure about where to go, what the crowd will be like, and whether the dance floor suits their style. There’s no centralized, trusted space to compare vibes, attendance, or real experiences — leaving even seasoned dancers guessing every weekend.
2. It’s frustrating to have leftover tokens but not know from which event — and just as frustrating to miss an event but have no idea how to sell the ticket.
Many dancers are left with leftover tokens and no way to trace them back to specific events. Others miss events they paid for but have no idea how to resell or transfer their ticket. This lack of transparency and transaction tools creates unnecessary loss and stress.
3. Can we get rewards for being loyal fans of certain parties or dance schools? Discount? loyal programs?
Despite their dedication, loyal dancers often receive no reward for supporting certain parties or schools week after week. There’s no built-in loyalty system to offer perks, recognition, or discounted access — which discourages consistent attendance and community building.
4. How can we fully enjoy the scene if we can’t even afford to attend so many socials?
Social dancing is meant to bring joy and connection — but rising ticket costs and the frequency of events make it financially difficult for many dancers to fully participate. The scene risks losing diversity and passion simply because too many can’t afford to keep up.
5. We need carpools to avoid missing parties when public transport shuts down early.
Public transport ends early, and many dancers don’t have a way to attend events that are even slightly far. Without an easy, trusted system for ride-sharing, dancers are forced to skip great socials — not because of distance, but because of logistics.
6. How can we receive consistent, private corrections anytime, anywhere — still keep the privacy?
Dancers who want to improve often struggle to get timely, personal corrections without asking directly. There’s no seamless way to receive feedback privately, at one’s own pace, and without interrupting the flow of a session or class.
7. How can we learn from the masters more easily, both online and offline?
Learning from world-class instructors should be easier — yet it’s often limited to rare workshops or scattered online videos. Dancers need a platform that bridges online and offline learning, offering more flexible and consistent access to the best in the scene.
8. Dancers always buy tickets at the last minute, which leaves organisers guessing on how big to plan — and risking losing money.
Organizers constantly face uncertainty. Dancers buy tickets last-minute, making it nearly impossible to predict attendance, plan venue size, or manage resources effectively. This unpredictability results in either financial loss or missed growth opportunities.
9. Can DJs and artists be easily followed by event organisers for planning, and by dancers to see which events they’ll appear at in advance?
Event planners struggle to track DJ and artist availability, while dancers often don’t know where their favorite performers are playing next. There’s no streamlined way to coordinate schedules or follow artists across events, which hurts both programming and community excitement.
