About THE FOUNDATION LaTIN FIRE
THE PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The foundation serves the community, supports professionals, fosters innovation, and establishes funds, all with the goal of promoting holistic health and happiness.
We aim for at least 30% of our income to go to the three funds we are setting up to support the community and society.
Stichting (Non-profit) Latin Fire is based on and serving the largest Latin dance community in the Netherlands, offering various benefits to community dancers, as well as a video-based media platform focused on fast, journalistic coverage across the Netherlands and Europe.
Our mission is to promote physical health, mental wellbeing, and meaningful connection through the Latin dance scene.
We also operate the only backstage professional network within the Dutch Latin scene, designed to enhance collaboration and support international expansion.
With the founder’s background in marketing, sales, and technology, we are actively seeking sponsorships to support the development of an AI-driven platform that improves functionality and efficiency — raising the happiness index through dance forms such as Salsa and Bachata.
The sponsorship will also support artists producing innovative works for international audiences, as well as subsidise low-income community dancers.

Over the community
THE COMMUNITY
The community shares where and when events take place, along with special discount codes and joyful moments from those events. These joyful moments also include videos and media shared on social platforms—showcasing how local community dancers, Dutch artists, and international performers express themselves. It’s a way for everyone to watch, learn, practice, grow, and find more joy through dance.
The Bailando Collab group brings together backstage professionals—DJs, teachers, organizers, and creatives—to encourage genuine collaboration. Together, they create meaningful experiences while giving back to the dancers who bring the community to life.
The founder believes backstage professionals are the backbone of the scene. With the right support, they can guide the community toward greater happiness and stronger connections. Her vision is clear: to build a space where dance brings healing, health, and joy.
That’s why supporting the people and places that shape the scene — schools, events, and artists, is part of the community’s everyday work.
For nearly two years, the founder has invested her own time and financial resources, doing everything voluntarily without expecting anything in return. This dedication laid the groundwork for what is now evolving into an official platform—designed to support the community in a more sustainable and structured way.
As the community grows, new challenges naturally emerge. With events being widely shared, people begin to feel overwhelmed, unsure of how to manage their time or make the best choices. When discount codes become too numerous, dancers may struggle to know which ones to use. And as more schools and events rely on the founder’s volunteer efforts, her time and resources are no longer enough to keep up with the growing demand.
This raises a key question: How can more organizations come together to build a Latin dance scene that runs with consistent quality—efficient, smooth, and harmonious? And as the community expands, what does it truly need to thrive? How do we empower those still waiting for their chance, and create lasting, healthy joy—a kind of uplifting energy that dance brings into everyday life?

To support the growth, the founder eventually decided to pursue a bigger goal by incorporating the NPO foundation.
WHO IS BEHIND
the Founder
Tingting is the founder of Latin Fire, a thriving community built from the ground up to connect and support Latin dance enthusiasts in the Netherlands. What began as a simple WhatsApp group for community dancers quickly evolved into an official Instagram account, sharing social dances and event agenda, then also discount code. Thanks to her consistent content, strategic collaboration, and community-driven approach, the platform grew to nearly 20,000 followers in just over a year — becoming one of the largest and fastest-growing Latin dance communities in the country.
At the same time, she founded Bailando Collab, a network designed to support event organizers and dance schools with marketing strategies and guidance. Operated entirely on a volunteer basis—with Tingting personally covering all costs and dedicating her own time—the initiative empowers community partners while promoting sustainability. In return, backstage professionals offer discount codes and other benefits to dancers, creating a mutually supportive ecosystem rooted in shared values.
Tingting brings a solid background in professional marketing, branding, international sales, and tech agility. Her expertise spans digital solutions and growth strategy. She previously architected a sophisticated SaaS concept—a dynamic supply chain search engine—developed in collaboration with a former CTO of Morgan Stanley, showcasing her talent for translating real-world challenges into scalable, automated solutions. She also designed an affiliate eCommerce platform that built a closer bridge between her technical insight and the Latin Fire community’s social media content, further amplifying community engagement through meaningful digital experiences.
Having built multiple SMEs, including a high-growth company of 15 people, that scaled in team and revenue, Tingting faced setbacks during the after-COVID era. That turning point deepened her commitment to serve the community and human health. Today, she channels her experience and passion into building a supportive ecosystem focused on physical health, mental well-being, and meaningful human connection — through the transformative power of Latin dance.
Tingting first stepped onto the Cuban salsa floor 20 years ago, deeply influenced by a Colombian live band that performed daily in Beijing and the vibrant crowd it attracted. Her dance style naturally evolved into a fusion of Cuban salsa with Hip-Hop and R&B, reflecting her lifestyle at the time. That passion went into hibernation due to relocation and life changes. Just six months before founding Latin Fire, she rediscovered dance through on1 (inline salsa) in Rotterdam—adding a new dimension to her journey. From that moment on, it marked the awakening of her passion and her growing dedication to the dance community.

The objective is exactly to address the current gaps in truly supporting a complete ecosystem—from individual artists to international reach—in order to strengthen the broader landscape of music, dance, art, and culture, while also contributing to our holistic well-being.
We seek donations not only to continue supporting the community and ecosystem as we’ve been doing, but also to launch three major initiatives that will elevate the entire journey to the next level. This requires broader support from society—not just to realize the technology behind it, but also to bridge the social gaps and provide funding to those who genuinely need it to unlock their potential and uplift the community as a whole.
By all means, our efforts serve the core actions behind our mission: to build, support, and subsidize a thriving Latin dance ecosystem. From promoting health and inclusion to empowering artists, organizing events, and developing smart tools, every step is aimed at making dance more accessible, impactful, and sustainable, for individuals and the community alike, supporting physical health, mental well-being, and meaningful connections.
The vision behind this mission is led by founder Tingting, a seasoned serial entrepreneur with a proven track record in building, funding, scaling, and navigating setbacks across multiple ventures. With deep experience in business strategy and community building, she is now dedicating her knowledge and energy to a cause that truly matters—contributing to a corner of the world where dance, creativity, and connection serve as powerful tools for holistic health, both for individuals and society as a whole.
